Back home and all sorted

We got a new number in the end.
An engineer came round but told us that earlier in the day, BT had applied our new number to another BT customer down the road, so when he called a man picked up and said that wasn't his number and he was about to call BT Faults...so engineer had to go down to the exchange and sort that him out as well as us.
Our line was connected on Sept Sat 8th
But had to wait another 2wks for the broadband to be connected
Then my O2 bill came in at £119!
Then our line was disconnected on Sat 28th for half an hour - engineers were testing supposedly

ANYWAY We're all set and have compensation
O2 bill sorted (for all calls to 08 no.s of course they themselves decided to remove from free mins and now charge 20p/min...)
£60 vouchers for John Lewis (can now get a freeview box)
3mth free phone line rental
3mth free broadband
